Policy at a Glance
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all subscription plans and one-time passes on AstroVest, operated by Xike Corporation Private Limited. By subscribing, you agree to the terms below. For questions, email support@astrovest.in.
1. Cancellation
1.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Navigating to the Subscription screen in the AstroVest app and selecting "Manage Subscription".
- Emailing support@astrovest.in with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" from your registered email address.
1.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel a monthly subscription:
- Your subscription will not renew on the next billing date.
- You retain full access to AstroVest until the end of your current paid billing period.
- After the billing period ends, your account is downgraded to a free (limited) tier or deactivated, depending on the plan.
- No refund is issued for the remaining days of the current billing period.
1.3 Daily Plan
The Daily plan (₹49) is a one-time 24-hour access pass. It does not auto-renew. Once the 24-hour access period begins, no refund is available.
2. Refunds
2.1 No Refund — Standard Policy
As a general rule, all subscription fees are non-refundable. When you subscribe to AstroVest, you pay for immediate access to digital content (astrological insights, live data, recommendations). Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019 permits non-refund policies for digital services where access has been granted.
2.2 Exceptions — When Refunds Are Issued
We will issue a full refund in the following situations:
- Double charge: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a payment processing error, we will refund the duplicate charge.
- Charge after valid cancellation: If you were billed after a valid cancellation request (submitted before the renewal date with written confirmation), we will refund the erroneous charge.
- Significant technical failure: If AstroVest was completely inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours during a paid period due to our platform failure (not ISP, device, or third-party issues), you may request a pro-rated credit for the affected days.
- Accidental purchase within 24 hours: If you accidentally subscribed and have not accessed any paid features (no recommendations viewed, no chart generated), contact us within 24 hours of the charge for a full refund consideration. This is evaluated case-by-case.
2.3 Situations That Do Not Qualify for Refunds
- Dissatisfaction with astrological accuracy or predictions.
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date.
- Change of mind after accessing the service.
- Inability to use the service due to your device, internet connection, or account credentials.
- Partial use of a subscription period.
- Upgrades or downgrades between plans.
3. Refund Process
To request a refund for an eligible situation:
- Email support@astrovest.in with subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Name]"
- Include: your registered email, subscription plan, transaction ID (from Razorpay receipt), date of charge, and reason for refund request.
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- After verification, approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, or net banking account used for payment).
Depending on your bank or UPI provider, it may take an additional 3–10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account after we initiate it.
4. Subscription Plan Changes
If you upgrade your subscription mid-cycle, you will be charged the difference for the remaining days of the current period on a pro-rated basis. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refund is issued for the difference when downgrading mid-cycle.
5. Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorised, please contact us at support@astrovest.in before raising a dispute with your bank or payment provider. We aim to resolve all billing queries within 7 business days. Unilateral chargebacks without first contacting us may result in account suspension.
6. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India). If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may also approach the National Consumer Helpline at 1800-11-4000.
